Alternatives to the tool you want to replace

Each page starts from one product and lists several real options, with Droplana as one of them, and who each option suits.

An alternatives page answers a different question from a comparison. A comparison weighs Droplana against one product. An alternatives page starts from the product you want to leave and asks what else could do its job, including tools that are not Droplana. Droplana appears on each list as what it is: a client document portal with one private portal per client, files stored in Germany and no account for your clients.

How to read an alternatives page

Start with the section on why people look for alternatives. If your reason is not there, the list may have been written for a different situation than yours, and the product you have may still be the right one.

Then read the trade-off named for each option. Price, where files are hosted and what your clients have to do to open a document usually decide more than a feature list does. The prices on each page were checked on the vendor's own site on the date shown, so check them again before you buy.

If Droplana makes your shortlist, the comparison pages go into detail on one product at a time, with a side-by-side table.
