Which plan is right for you?
A short, honest guide. Pick the plan that fits where you are now — you can always upgrade later, and you can cancel any time.
Free is right for you if
- You want to try Droplana on one real client before paying anything.
- You're early in your freelance career with one or two active relationships.
- You only need it for occasional, lightweight client work.
The free plan is also our trial — there's no separate "Pro trial". Use Free for as long as makes sense, upgrade the moment you need a second client.
Pro is right for you if
- You're a working freelancer or solo consultant with multiple active clients.
- Your client work is ongoing — files and messages that span weeks or months.
- You want to look like a real practice rather than running on Drive folders.
- 100 GB is enough storage for your work.
Agency is right for you if
- You're a small agency, studio, or firm with many active clients in parallel.
- You handle high-volume file work (design, video, photography) where storage matters.
- Pro's storage limit isn't enough — you need 500 GB.
- You'd rather pay a clear flat fee than worry about hitting limits.
If you're unsure, start with Free for one client. Upgrade to Pro when you want a second client. Move to Agency only if you bump into Pro's storage cap.
What you don't pay for
The SaaS market has trained everyone to expect surprise costs. We don't do these things.
No per-client fees
Some platforms charge per client portal. We don't. Pro and Agency are unlimited clients.

Our most expensive plan is €50/month. If your needs exceed Agency, email us — we won't make you book a demo to see prices.

Hit your limit and we block the operation, then offer an upgrade link. Existing data is untouched. You choose: upgrade, delete files, or stay where you are.
No long-term contracts
Monthly billing only. Cancel any time. After cancellation you keep full access until the end of your billing period, plus a 15-day grace period.
No annual upfront commitment
Monthly billing only at this stage. We don't ask you to lock in for a year up front to get a price.

Billing and payment
How does billing work?
We use Creem as our Merchant of Record. They handle card processing and tax compliance — VAT for European customers, sales tax for US customers where applicable, equivalent for other jurisdictions. Creem calculates and collects any tax at checkout based on your location.
You'll see Creem (not Droplana) on your card statement.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, processed by Creem. Creem also supports a range of alternative payment methods depending on your region.
Are taxes included in the listed price?
Listed prices (€10/mo, €50/mo) are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Creem calculates and adds tax based on your location at checkout. EU consumers see VAT added; B2B EU customers with a valid VAT number qualify for the reverse-charge mechanism. US customers in states that levy sales tax on digital services see that added.
Can I pay annually for a discount?
Not at this stage. Monthly billing only.
Do you offer a refund?
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of your transaction date and are reviewed by Creem on a case-by-case basis. EU/EEA, Swiss, and UK consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from eligible digital purchases. To request a refund, use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation email, or visit creem.io and select "Request refund". For details, see the Refund Policy.
Plans and limits
What happens if I exceed my free-tier client limit?
You'll see an upgrade prompt the moment you try to add a second client. We don't auto-charge or auto-upgrade. Your existing data is untouched. You choose: upgrade, delete the existing client, or stay free.
What happens if I exceed my storage?
Same pattern — when an upload would push you past your storage limit, we block the upload and offer an upgrade link. Already-uploaded files stay where they are.
What if a single file is too large?
Max file size is 100 MB on Free, 1 GB on Pro, and 5 GB on Agency. If you need to share something larger than your plan allows, split it or use a temporary tool to deliver the original, then keep the working files in Droplana.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. After cancellation you keep full access until the end of your billing period plus a 15-day grace period. After that the account returns to free-tier limits. If you have more clients than the free tier allows, we keep your most recently created client and remove the rest.
Can I upgrade mid-month?
Yes. Creem pro-rates the difference for the remaining days in your billing cycle.
Is there a trial for Pro or Agency?
The Free plan is the trial. There's no separate trial period — use Free as long as makes sense and upgrade when you outgrow it.
About clients
Do my clients pay anything?
No. Clients open a link and access their portal. They don't have an account, they don't see pricing, they never get billed. The portal is your tool — they just use it.
How many clients can I have on a paid plan?
Unlimited clients. No per-client fees. The only limit is your overall storage.
Can a client share their portal with their team?
Yes — they can share the link. There's no per-person account on the client side, so the link is how internal client teams collaborate.
Support and service
What support comes with each plan?
All plans include email support. We're a small team, so we respond personally — typically within 24 hours on weekdays.
Is there a phone number?
Not currently. Email is the fastest way to get us.
Can I import data from another tool?
We don't currently offer migration tools. If you have a specific migration need, email us and we'll see what we can do.
About Droplana
Is Droplana a real, sustainable company?
Yes. We're a small team building a focused tool we believe in. Not a side project, not VC-backed-and-burning-money-to-acquire-customers. We charge fair prices and use them to keep the lights on and the product improving.
What if Droplana shuts down?
If we ever wound down, we'd notify customers well in advance. You can always export all your data as JSON via the Account page — every client, every file's metadata, every comment, every event, every invoice.
Will pricing increase?
We commit to giving existing customers at least 60 days notice of any price changes, and we honor existing prices for current customers for at least 12 months after any change.
