What is Droplana?
Droplana is a client document portal for professional service businesses. Each of your clients gets a private, persistent portal for two-way document exchange - EU-based and EU-hosted, built with privacy and data protection in mind, for businesses worldwide.
Instead of sending files by email or asking clients to dig through a shared drive folder, you give each client one link. They open it, send you what you need, and receive what you send them - no account, no password, no app to install.
Why we built it
Most businesses already use Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. Those tools are good at storing and sharing files. They are not built around the specific, repeated process of exchanging documents with a client - sending something out, and then chasing that same client for a signed form, an ID, a payslip, or a receipt that comes back late, blurry, or not at all.
We wanted something simpler: a business sends a client a link, the client sends files back to that same link, and both sides always know where the files are. One portal per client, used for as long as the relationship lasts - not a one-off transfer link that expires.

Droplana is hosted on infrastructure in Germany, operated by an EU company, and built with GDPR in mind from the start.
No tracking for the sake of tracking
No marketing tracking cookies, no visitor profiling, no third-party analytics scripts. What we log is what's needed to run the service.
